Sleep

It is gone 3 am and I am aching but can’t sleep I have been wanting to write some more science fiction to try and make som money but the laboratory at Wuhan is in danger of falling to the demise of the Three Gorges Dam. And a prophecy I made on sci.geo earthquakes about a month back, looks as though it might be coming true.

I have a problem it always happens, that I want to be correct but not if it means thousands of people will be killed. So I can’t turn the fact into a sci-fi story; not even just to fill the bill for the 500 words that will give me cover for this month’s story.

It had been warm exceptionally warm the same sort of warm that has played havoc with our computers a couple of moths aago. The same havoc that elicited the prophecy which I can’t use and wouldn’t I assure you if I was able to sleep, which I can’t so I am stuck.

The problem is fake weather makes me ache. I should go for a walk it is a nice night so I may as well since I have nearly completed all I can say about the fake weather.

200 words, is that all I have to say about this miracle?

M 7.0 – 4 km ENE of Los Órganos de San Agustín, Mexico

The last time we have an interesting earthquake in Mexico there was a tropical storm there and that is abig no no.

So I could say something about that but what?

There are four tropical storm running 2 on each side of the Pacific. Tropical Storms do not occur with large quakes. But this one is only just all wrong, if you check it in the earthquake archives they will have squeezed a few in but how far back fake weather is comparatively recent it was given the go ahead by Bill Clinton. So what do I know about it?

There is another interesting quake: M 4.9 – South Sandwich Islands region Time 2021-09-07 11:22:08 (UTC+01:00) Location 59.436°S 25.928°W Depth

An earthquake in the South Sandwiches causes tropical storms in two weeks. And some week or so back I can’t remember there was a magnitude 8.2 earthquake there, that was all wrong as well because the normal average in the south Sandwich Islands is much less than 8.2 Magnitude.

Is this boring?

I can’t tell. It fills the bill for a short story about “sleep”.

What happens with these things is after a suitable earthquake we have an interesting volcanic eruption but I don’t know where maybe Iceland. That would qualify as a miracle if I was absoutley certain and if I was right but I am not. I probably will be but I am honest I only think it will be because I vaguely recall the signal is the same as from before but this time it is anticyclonic.

However it is totally messed up. The pressure is given as a Low but the pressure is 1007 millibars

Ah well 500 words, that will do. I can go for a walk.
